Good Shepherd and Health Care Council Conduct Community Health Assessment

11/12/2012

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network is collaborating with three other non-profit hospitals in the Lehigh Valley and The Dorothy Rider Pool Health Care Trust to conduct a comprehensive community health assessment. Click here to see a view of the current status of health in the Lehigh Valley and find out what role you play in making us the healthiest community. A Spanish version of this Community Health Profile is available here.

Also, the Community Forums referenced on page 23 of the report will be held at the Northampton Community College Fowler Center (511 E. Third St., Bethlehem) from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday,  November 28, and at the Salvation Army (144 N. 8th St., Allentown) from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 29.

We, as part of the Health Care Council of the Lehigh Valley, will be seeking your thoughts and ideas about improving the overall health of the Lehigh Valley. Comments about the Community Health Profile can be sent to the Health Care Council at: healthcarecouncillv@gmail.com.

The Health Care Council of the Lehigh Valley encourages persons with disabilities to review the Community Health Profile and participate in the community forums which will be held at ADA accessible locations. If you anticipate needing any type of additional accommodations or have questions about the physical access that will be provided, please email us at healthcarecouncillv@gmail.com or call Ron Dendas (The Dorothy Rider Pool Health Care Trust) at 610-770-9346.
