Good Shepherd Home – Raker Center

Since 1908, Good Shepherd has provided long-term care for people with severe disabilities. Today, the Good Shepherd Home – Raker Center on our south Allentown campus is a long-term care facility that serves 99 residents.

The Raker Center is for individuals 18 years of age and older requiring residential nursing care. Primary diagnoses served include, but are not limited to, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, quadriplegia, Multiple Sclerosis, traumatic brain injury and spina bifida. Each resident and his or her family are active participants in the development of a care plan.

Residents may be referred by a physician, insurance company, discharge planner/social worker, home health agency, family member or self-referral.
