Physician Group

As a national leader in the use of innovative rehabilitation treatments and technologies, it takes a dedicated, skilled and educated team of doctors to maintain Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network’s high standards of care. We employ a group of physicians who come from around the world, are well respected in the medical community and are considered to be some of the best in their fields including physical medicine and rehabilitation, neuropsychology and optometry.

In particular, our staff physiatrists are highly trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), also known as physiatry. PM&R is a branch of medicine devoted to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of neurologic, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, pulmonary and other disorders that may produce temporary or permanent impairment and associated disability. PM&R focuses on restoring function to people with conditions ranging from physical mobility limitations to those with complex cognitive impairments. Good Shepherd’s physiatrists provide care for a broad spectrum of disorders, including major multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, stroke, amputation and spinal cord injury.
