DIY Switch-Adapted Toy Workshop (Stroudsburg)

Join Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Stroudsburg on Dec. 13 (1-3 p.m.) for a free DIY switch-adapted toy workshop, making toys more accessible to children with disabilities.

This in-person community event from Good Shepherd’s Empower+ experts is for parents and caregivers who are interested in learning how to adapt a toy to be activated by a switch. You’ll learn how to create a battery interrupter and a switch, and how to use a switch to activate a toy.

Please bring a battery-operated toy with simple on-off operation with you.

You’ll leave the workshop with a battery interrupter and a switch for your toy.

Pre-registration is required.

Sign up for a one-hour block of time. Choose from:
