WASHINGTON, D.C. – Good Shepherd Rehabilitation’s Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs Sandeep Singh, MD, FAAPMR, served as co-chair of the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association’s (AMRPA) 2025 Summit of Transforming Inpatient Rehabilitation (STIR) symposium.
The symposium, which was part of the Spring Conference & Congressional Fly-In on March 2-4 in Washington, D.C., provided advanced training and dynamic discussion on rehabilitation management and strategy for clinical and business leaders around the country.
STIR featured a keynote speaker, discussions and four tracks focusing on quality, strategy, work culture and operational performance.

In addition to Dr. Singh, Vice President of Strategic Planning and Operating Services Cynthia Buchman, MHA, and Vice President of Inpatient Rehabilitation and Administrator of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital Robin A. Fritsch, MSW, attended AMRPA’s two-day conference, alongside their colleague Franklin Caldera, DO.
Dr. Caldera serves as Chief Medical Officer of Penn Medicine Rehabilitation, an inpatient rehabilitation unit of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. GSPP Rehabilitation, a joint venture between Penn Medicine and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, manages the inpatient rehabilitation unit in Philadelphia.
