CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Good Shepherd Rehabilitation and Promenade Saucon Valley, an open-air lifestyle shopping center, announced this week Good Shepherd’s plans to open a new 4,764-square-foot outpatient facility in fall 2025.
The new outpatient location, located across the street from Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital (3200 Center Valley Parkway), will be home to Good Shepherd’s Physician Group. The expert outpatient team will provide outpatient physical medicine & rehabilitation (physiatry) care to people living with disabilities, as well as patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injuries, chronic pain and more.
“Our new location at Promenade Saucon Valley, which is conveniently close to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital on Center Valley Parkway, will provide centralized, convenient outpatient access for the patients and families we serve throughout the area,” said Sandeep Singh, MD, FAAPMR, chief medical officer and senior vice president of medical affairs. “In addition to opening this new location at Promenade Saucon Valley, Good Shepherd will also continue to provide outpatient physician care at our South Allentown Campus on 5th Street.”
Patients who discharge from Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital will have follow-up outpatient appointments with their Good Shepherd doctor at the Promenade when it opens in fall 2025. The location also will accept new patients.
Located behind Red Robin, the new office will feature plenty of general and accessible parking for patients and visitors.
“Promenade Saucon Valley is honored to have been chosen as the site for the newest Good Shepherd Rehabilitation facility,” said Patrick Turner, general manager of Promenade Saucon Valley. “Good Shepherd’s expert medical team plays a vital role in helping traumatic injury patients and their families through difficult circumstances, and we invite everyone to welcome them to the center and the community.”

Having a physiatrist guide your recovery is similar to having a primary care physician who also specializes in diagnosing and treating certain musculoskeletal conditions. Physiatrists have a keen understanding of how the body works. They focus on your goals and consider the body and mind to understand the source of your pain and/or limitations.
