New name, same trusted care for longtime Schuylkill County outpatient clinic
POTTSVILLE, PA — Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, a nationally recognized, not-for-profit rehabilitation leader, announced today that Pottsville Area Physical Therapy has changed its name and brand to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, effective immediately.
Now under the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation brand, the Pottsville location at 2655 Woodglen Road continues to have the full backing of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network’s complete expertise in rehabilitation services, including physical therapy and other programs and services.
Good Shepherd Rehabilitation’s Pottsville clinic has been a part of the Schuylkill County community since 1982. In July 2016, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network acquired the clinic.
“This is a name change — not a people change,” says Carolyn Dunkelberger, PT, DPT, site manager. “Our staff continues to provide the same high-quality and compassionate outpatient rehabilitation care that the Schuylkill County community has known and trusted for decades.”
Good Shepherd Rehabilitation’s Pottsville site specializes in treating musculoskeletal problems, such as back and neck pain, sprains and strains, fractures, joint replacements, sports injuries and arthritic conditions, as well as caring for people recovering from stroke, traumatic injury, brain injury and more. The team offers a number of services and programs, including orthopedic rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, physical therapy, vestibular/balance therapy, occupational health rehabilitation for injured workers, lymphedema therapy, women’s health, LSVT BIG® for people living with Parkinson’s disease and more.
