President & CEO Named to LVB’s 2025 Power List

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Good Shepherd Rehabilitation President & CEO Michael Spigel, PT, MHA, has been named to Lehigh Valley Business’ 2025 Power 100 List. Compiled by LVB’s editorial staff and leadership team, the list features regional leaders “who shape our communities and influence the quality of life in our region.”

As Michael shared with LVB in his profile, among his proudest accomplishments in the last year is the creation of “Always Rising, our strategic plan to position Good Shepherd among the nation’s top rehabilitation providers.”

“Always Rising pushes us to elevate patient outcomes and enables our team to embrace new possibilities,” Michael said. “It’s a vision that inspires us to continually grow, lead and change lives — because at Good Shepherd, we are always rising.”

Michael, who assumed the president and CEO role at Good Shepherd in August 2020, is committed to furthering Good Shepherd’s mission as well as its well-known reputation for innovation and compassionate, quality post-acute care.

A physical therapist by trade, Michael has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in health-care administration, focused almost exclusively in rehabilitation. Prior to joining Good Shepherd, Michael served as President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, Florida.
