We all know how important sleep is, so whether you have a newly renovated nursery or are using a pack-and-play, please remember these tips to help reduce the risk of Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Syndrome (SUIDS).
SUIDS is when an infant unfortunately passes away from unknown causes, Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) or accidental suffocation/strangulation in bed (CDC, 2021). Safe Sleep should be used for all infants under the age of one year.
A. Infants should sleep Alone.
B. Place infants on their Back.
C. Use a Crib or safe environment.
