Why did you choose Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation?

I chose Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation because it offers a truly rewarding experience. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness a patient’s recovery firsthand, often in real time. I focus on treating acute pain and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as offering interventional spine care. I also enjoy treating arthritis and helping with knee, shoulder, hip problems, and foot/ankle problems, all of which allow me to make a meaningful impact on my patients’ quality of life.

What motivates you as a physician?

Beyond my daily practice, what drives me as a physician is the opportunity to help patients not only in my local community but also abroad. I’ve traveled multiple times to rural areas in India, my home country, to perform procedures and surgeries. These experiences continue to inspire and challenge me in ways that fuel my commitment to patient care.

What inspires you when working with patients?

What truly inspires me when working with patients is their motivation to improve. People who visit my office are already taking the crucial first step in their recovery by seeking help. I’m inspired by their determination and their unique life stories. It’s incredibly rewarding to show them that, with the right care, they can regain their independence and live life to the fullest.
